  • Bano has been a student of (islamic) knowledge for over 2 decades, studying with teachers such as Habib Umar bin Hafiz, Habib Kadhim as-Saqqaf, Hababa Mona al Kaf, Hababa Nur, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Imam Zaid Shakir, Shaykh Ibrahim Osi Efa and Ustada Nagheba Hayal.

    After 3 years studying Arabic with the Fajr Institute based in Egypt, Bano travelled to Tarim, Yemen in 2022, where she continued her studies in the Life of the Prophet ﷺ (Seerah), Islamic Law (Fiqh), Purification (Tazkiyah) and other Islamic Subjects.

    Bano’s primary passion remains the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ which she has studied and taught for the past 25 years.
